The Message of Mawlid al-Nabi from the President of Religious Affairs Erbaş

The President of Religious Affairs Erbaş said in his message of Mawlid al-Nabi, “Today, the world is in need of the lifeblood given by the Messenger of Allah to dead souls more than ever. At this point, we, the believers, are responsible for handing the morals of Islam down to the next generations completely by understanding and absorbing them.”

8 November 2019 (12 Rabi al-awwal 1441) Friday is the anniversary of our Beloved Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa’s (saw) honoring the earth with his birth. May the Almighty Allah make this Waladah al-Nabi, which we will contemplate, conduce to the goodness of the entire humanity.

An age in which negligence and oppression reign, mercy, wisdom and virtue disappear and the strong suppress the weak turned into the Age of Bliss in the light of science, justice, and compassion with the birth of the Messenger of Allah. The humanity that lost its essence and values in the vortex of negligence set off on a journey in his road and brought the most beautiful examples of brotherhood, benevolence, and good morals together with the earth. Thereby the greatest transformation of the history was experienced on individual, social, and universal grounds in the axis of existence, objectives, knowledge, and values.

With this aspect, Mawlid al-Nabi is:

A spiritual key which replaces the fixed point of view of the humanity about existence and the world with a divine understanding by changing it completely and conduces to the opening of all the mercy doors in the world to the humanity with this great development realized by it.

It is a milestone in which good morals-centered prophetic succession was crowned with Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa, the prophet of mercy, and superior humanitarian virtues and bounties gained high importance in the person of the Messenger of Allah in a period when humans were surrendered by the understanding of negligence.

The humanity that is in the vortex of individualism caused by uncontrollable worldly interests and ambitions today is facing extinction by losing its road, direction, and orbit. A world in which humans’ relations with environment and universe have become mechanized, objectives are lost as existence has become meaningless due to metaphysical depressions, and wisdom is lost by glorifying materials is going away from being a liable place in ideal means day by day.

On the other hand, our world suffers in captivity of pain, grief, and tears after Prophet Muhammad, who declared with an expression beyond ages that one should not harm any living creature and have mercy on them. For whatever reason it might be, this Picture that does not comply with the honor of being human explicitly shows that we need the serenity introduced by the climate of mercy which encircled the world with the birth of the Messenger of Allah. For this reason, with the expression of the Qur’an, the world is in need of the lifeblood given by the Messenger of Allah, who has the most beautiful examples, to dead souls more than ever. At this point, we, the believers, are responsible for handing the beauties of morals of Islam, which were led by the Messenger of Allah during his lifetime, down to the next generations completely by understanding and absorbing them in the most correct way.

With these feelings and thoughts, I would like to celebrate Mawlid al-Nabi of our nation and the entire Islamic World and wish that the Almighty Allah lets it conduce to the creation of a climate of peace, tranquility, and brotherhood for which the humanity yearns.
