President of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş, went to France to attend the general assemblies of the Religious Affairs Turkish-Islamic Union and to hold various contacts. President Erbaş met with religious officials in Strasbourg and visited the Yunus Emre School.
President of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş, went to France to attend general meetings of Religious Affairs Turkish-Islamic Union (DİTİB) and to hold various contacts.
Following the Germany program, President of Religious Affairs Erbaş went to France and met with religious officials from various parts of France in the Religious Affairs Academy in Strasbourg.
President Erbaş said in his speech here, that the religious services carried out in Europe every year continue to develop further.
Pointing to the influence of religious officials on raising young people with an Islamic sensibility, President Erbaş said:
“We are the guides, the leaders. We need to train our Muslim brothers in such a way as to maintain their Islamic sensibilities. We need to raise children, youth, with our sermons, our training, approaching them sincerely, without hatred, making it easier, without making it harder, in the most beautiful way. This is the trust of Prophet (s.a.w.), that was on our shoulders.”

President Erbaş then visited the Yunus Emre School in Strasbourg.
President Erbaş made observations at the school where secondary and high school education was conducted and received information about the school by Murat Ercan, Head of School.
Meeting with teachers and some parents, President Erbaş congratulated the teachers and parents in his speech said, “It's always good to be among the first. You will always be remembered by the people who lives here throughout the history, whether you are a student, parent or teacher. You lead, you are becoming a partner in a business that will leave a mark in history.”
President Erbaş, as Presidency of Religious Affairs, stating that they are with them always, said, “Our Lord creates very good results when we are in unity and solidarity. These institutions are the fruits of unity and togetherness, to be shoulder to shoulder, love and excitement. May The Supreme Allah bless everyone involved.”
In the school, President Erbaş attended the lecture of The Holy Qur'an for the female students at the open Imam Hatip High School.
DİTİB Strasbourg 10th Annual General Assembly
President Erbaş then moved to DİTİB Strasbourg's 10th Ordinary General Assembly.
Making a speech at the General Assembly, President of Religious Affairs Erbaş said DİTİB has an important mission in the formation and maintenance of unity and solidarity among Muslims in Europe.
Vice President of Presidency of Religious Affairs Dr. Selim Argun, Director General of Foreign Relations Erdal Atalay and Paris Religious Services Consultant Mustafa Can accompanied President Erbaş during the programs.
