I strongly condemn the terrorist attacks that occurred in 3 churches and hotels in Sri Lanka, caused numerous people to lose their lives and left hundreds of people wounded.
As members of a religion which declares the temples and the innocent people as untouchable even in war, we would like to express our heartfelt sadness due to the attack, I would like to give my condolences to the families and nations of those who lost their lives and deliver my get well soon wishes to the wounded.
All kinds of attacks which attempt against innocent people's lives, regardless of their places and offenders, are contrary to all religious and legal principles and are the greatest crimes ever committed against humanity's conscience.
Such attacks which serve the purpose of creating fear and distrust by converting differences to hostility threaten the world peace and the common peace and future of humanity.
Therefore, the whole world should be more responsive and sensitive against the terrorist activities and attacks without discrimination of race, faith and geography and everyone should exert more effort for the peace of entire humanity and the security of the earth.
