Responding to the police raid which was executed to the Mevlana mosque in the capital city of Germany, Berlin, the President of Religious Affairs Erbaş said, “Our sensitivities and what we consider as sacred were ignored during the raid which was executed by the German police force at the time of Fajr prayer in Mevlana Mosque”
The President of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş condemned fiercely the police raid which was executed to the Mevlana mosque in the capital city of Germany, Berlin.
In the post that he shared through his personal social media accounts, the President of Religious Affairs Erbaş said, “Our sensitivities and what we consider as sacred were ignored during the raid which was executed by the German police force at the time of Fajr prayer in Mevlana Mosque. Here I fiercely condemn such act which is full of hatred.”
In the post that he shared through his personal social media accounts, the President Erbaş said as follows:
“Our sensitivities and what we consider as sacred were ignored during the raid which was executed by the German police force at the time of Fajr prayer in Mevlana Mosque which is one of the central mosques of the region. Here I fiercely condemn such act which is full of hatred.
We have been witnessing that the discourse of hatred which is produced upon Islamophobia especially in Europe is being supported by the official institutions as well. No excuse can be accepted for such discriminative and disrespectful act which was executed against the Muslims!”
