Following the announcement of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that they would accept visitors from abroad for the worship of Umrah as of tomorrow, it has been deemed as necessary to share the following with the public.
In the announcement, it is stated that it is a preliminary condition for those who will visit the country for Umrah, and who will visit Masjid al-Haram and Masjid al-Nabawi for worship to have their approved Covid-19 vaccines in the KSA. Furthermore, it has been noted that 60 thousand visitors of Umrah daily and approximately 2 million of visitors of Umrah monthly will be accepted by observing the precautions of new-type coronavirus (Covid-19).
In addition, it was shared that from which countries they will accept visitors of Umrah and the number of quota that will be granted to the respective countries will be clarified in the following days, considering the number of cases in the countries.
However, for the time being, Umrah visitors from 33 countries including Turkey, the USA, United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Pakistan, Iran, India, Egypt, Lebanon will not be accepted and this list will be updated periodically within the next days.
