Masjid al-Aqsa Imam Khatib Sheikh Ekrime Sabri visits President of Religious Affairs Erbaş

Masjid al-Aqsa Imam Khatib Ekrime Sabri and former President of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Mehmet Görmez have visited the President of the Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş.

President of Religious Affairs Erbaş has expressed his gladness from the visit and stated that they follow up on the current state of affairs in Palestine closely.

President Erbaş who mentioned the Turkish nation`s love for Al-Quds has said that "When we hear Al-Quds, our heart beats in a different manner. Love of Al-Quds and Masjid al-Aqsa in our hearts always increase exponentially.”

President Erbaş has reminded us that last year they have invited the Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) which are active in Turkiye concerning Al-Quds and Masjid al-Aqsa, has stated that “ We have performed a very significant exchange of experience with 52 associations, foundations and NGOs which are active in the matters related to Al-Quds and Masjid al-Aqsa. Also, we founded a commission under the chairmanship of the Second President of the Turkish Diyanet Foundation. Now, this commission conducts the activities concerning Al-Quds".  

Ekrime Sabri has expressed his thanks to President Erbaş for the meeting.

During the reception Vice President of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. İbrahim Karslı was also present.
