President of Religious Affairs Erbaş is in Japan

President of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş attended ‘Ertuğrul Frigate Martyrs Qur’an and Dua Program’ held for the soldiers who were martyred in the Ertuğrul Frigate accident 132 years ago in Japan

President of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş attended ‘Ertuğrul Frigate Martyrs Qur’an and Dua Program’ held for the soldiers who were martyred in the Ertuğrul Frigate shipwreck 132 years ago in Japan

In the program held at Tokyo Mosque and Cultural Centre, duas were made by the President of Religious Affairs Erbaş after the recitation of the Holy Qur’an for the martyrs who lost their lives in the accident.

Pesident Erbaş made the following wish in his dua:

“O Allah, let the merits of the Qur’an recitation here be gifts to the souls of all our martyrs, especially Osman Paşa, the commander of the Ertuğrul Frigate, who had passed away because of a sea accident 132 years ago today, O Allah(swt)! accept their martyrdom. O Allah (swt)! Let their place be paradise and their rank be exalted. O Allah (swt)! Let their martyrdom be blessed.

O the Lord of the Worlds (swt)! We have bestowed the merits emanating from the recitation of the Quran to the souls of the martyrs, who have sacrificed their lives for the religion of Islam, for their homeland, and the Ummah from Badr to this day. O Allah (swt) please accept it. O Allah the Exalted (swt)! protect Islamic countries and Muslims from all kinds of evil, disasters and malice. O Allah (swt)! protect Islamic world and all of humanity from unexpected accidents, troubles, and epidemics. O Allah (swt)! Let the peace, unity and solidarity among Muslims and humanity be everlasting.”

President Erbaş visited the grave of Abdürreşid İbrahim.

President Erbaş also visited the grave of Abdürreşid İbrahim in Tokyo, a great traveller who made great efforts in introducing Islam to Japan.

At the visit, President Erbaş was accompanied by Ambassador of Turkiye to Tokyo Korkut Güngen, Vice President of Religious Affairs Assoc. Prof. Dr. Selim Argun, General Director of Foreign Relations Mahmut Özdemir, Director of Strategy Development Hasan Güçlü and Consultant of Religious Affairs in Tokyo Muhammet Raşit Alas.
