Today, is the anniversary of Prophet Muhammad’s (saw), who was sent as a herald of good news, a warner, an inviter and a witness, honoring this world. May the Almighty Allah (swt) make the Mawlid al-Nabi, which we are going to contemplate, auspicious for the entire humanity.
The coming of the Prophet Muhammad (saw) has been the hope of salvation for humanity that lost its way, lost its direction, whose mind is complicated and looking for a light of truth. His exemplary life, which is the source of knowledge, lore, wisdom and conversation, has been an unswerving guide on the path that will bring humanity to eternal peace. The divine book he brought has given rise to the possibility of removing all kinds of ignorance that veils the truth, justice and mercy. It has been a recipe for salvation and a source of healing for humanity suffering from spiritual diseases.
Almighty Allah (swt), who has shown the way of truth and guidance by sending revelations and messengers since the first human being, shows the irshad to his servants as the manifestation of the name “al-Rashid”. The most basic goal of revelation and prophecy is to inform people of their responsibilities and to show them the ways to live a life in this way. It is to liberate people from the dark depths of ignorance and the painful consequences of irresponsibility and to bring them to eternal light with a faith nourished by knowledge, wisdom and lore. The efforts of all the messengers of Allah, from the time of Prophet Adam to the present, have been to realize this ideal. At the essence of the mercy to the worlds, last prophet, Prophet Muhammad Mustafa's (saw), announcement and invitation is the same goal, the same determination and the same struggle.
"The necessity of loving the Prophet Muhammad (saw) and contemplating the Mawlid al-Nabi is to live by embracing and representing the values brought by him." Therefore, today, as Muslims, we must first bring together our environment and the whole of humanity with the life-giving principles, values and messages of the Qur'an and the Sunnah, starting with ourselves. We have to carry the love of the Prophet (saw) in our hearts as the morality of the Prophet (saw), the responsibility of servitude and the consciousness of the Ummah.
On this occasion, I congratulate the Mawlid Night of our nation and the Islamic world; May the Almighty Allah (swt) let the birth of Prophet Muhammad (saw) strength our feelings of unity, togetherness and brotherhood.
