President of Religious Affairs Erbaş condemns the raid on al-Aqsa Mosque

President of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş condemned the raid by Israeli forces on Al-Aqsa Mosque.

In his statements posted on his social media accounts, Prof. Erbaş commented as follows:

“I condemn the Israeli raid on al-Aqsa Mosque, the first Qibla of Muslims, and the attacks directed against our brothers and sisters who were worshiping there. This mindset that challenges the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque and attempts the Muslim’s lives with all kinds of tyranny must come to an end.

I invite the Muslim world and international public opinion to take action and take a strong stance in order to call Israel, which is hostile to freedom of worship, the sanctity of the sanctuaries and human rights, to account for all of its acts of tyranny.”
