President of Religious Affairs Erbaş received Head of Religious Administration of Polish Muslims Tomas Miskiyeviç at his Office.
Expressing the satisfaction from the visit, President Erbaş said, “We thank our President for his work and contributions to religious services. May the Almighty Allah (swt) help you, inshallah,” by referring to the relations between the religious institutions of the two countries.
Mentioning to the importance of the works for conveying authentic religious information, President Erbaş talked as “Against Islamophobia and people who keep Islam at a distance, we need to explain and promote the beauties of Islam very well. The most important tool for this is education. Both from countries where Muslims live as a minority and wherever they are in the world, they should come and receive religious education in Türkiye. In Türkiye, there is a religious education activity that is far from extremes and superstitions and that centres Islam on the lines of the Quran and Sunnah."
Emphasizing the importance of cooperation in religious education, President Erbaş used the following expressions, “If we can reach a certain stage in terms of education, this will lead to the development of more cooperation among Muslims. And our young people will do better services in the places they are in by having that authentic knowledge of Islam based on the Quran and Sunnah line instead of some other ideas.”
Uttering the satisfaction from the reception, Head of Religious Administration of Polish Muslims Tomas Miskiyeviç expressing his thanks to President Erbaş for support in the field of religious service and religious publications.
Vice President of Religious Affairs Assoc. Prof. Dr. Selim Argun and General Director of Foreign Relations Mahmut Özdemir were also present at the reception.
