Coming together with the citizens from Denizli at fajr prayer meeting, President of Religious Affairs Erbaş said, “O oppressors! learn from history. The cruelty of the oppressors does not get away with it, history is full of examples of this. The woe of the innocents whose blood you shed and slaughtered today will find you soon.”
President of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş came together with citizens from Denizli at the “Fajr Prayer Meeting.”
In the program organized by the Denizli Provincial Mufti at the Mufti Ahmet Hulusi Efendi Complex Mosque, the President of Religious Affairs Erbaş, who performed fajr prayer, addressed the congregation after the tasbihat invocations recited, the salawats said and the duas made.
Stating that a massacre was conducted by Israel in Palestine, President Erbaş used the following expressions, "A great massacre is being carried out in Al-Quds, which is the land of the prophets, in the Palestinian lands, including the memory of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (saw) and Masjid al-Aqsa. This massacre continues by the oppressors and by Israel, the leader of the oppressors."
Pointing out that Prophet Muhammad (saw) said in a hadith that Muslims are like a part of a body, President Erbaş said, "If something happens to a believer anywhere, all other believers will feel his pain, if he is sad, he will be sad, if he is happy, he will be happy."
“We need to put an end to this oppression with our hearts.”
Stating, "How many babies have died in Gaza, how many innocent lives have been ended and slaughtered. How can we endure, how can our hearts not ache, is it possible," President Erbaş said, "Our hearts ache, which is why we are here to make dua and to make our voices heard. We are here to announce the cruelty of the oppressors to the entire world and to curse them. That is what we can do. Our beloved prophet says, 'Whosoever of you sees an evil, let him change it with his hand; and if he is not able to do so, then [let him change it] with his tongue; and if he is not able to do so, then with his heart — and that is the weakest of faith.' Now we have to do what we can, we have to do what we can, we have to put an end to this oppression with our hearts."
Referring to the war ethics of Islam, President Erbaş stated that innocents, children, babies, women, the elderly, animals, and plants are inviolable in war.
Underlining that the oppressors destroyed people's homes with bombs and conducted a massacre without discriminating between children, women and innocents, President Erbaş stated that this should be constantly expressed.
“In Al-Quds under the rule of Islam, people lived in peace.”
Stating that Al-Quds has been bleeding since it was removed from the will of Muslims, President Erbaş talked as "The great and just Sultan Saladin Ayyubi saved both Jews and Muslims from the Crusader mentality that supports Israel's oppression today. He made Al-Quds Darussalam, the land of peace. Under the rule of Islam, in Al-Quds, the city of the prophets, there was a great peace, a great tranquillity, people of different religions, sects and races lived in peace."
Pointing out that people lived in peace under the rule of Muslims in Andalusia until a great massacre was conducted by the Crusaders, President Erbaş continued his words as follows:
“A nation that has suffered so much oppression is oppressing itself. I say, O oppressors, take a lesson from history. The oppressors do not get away with their cruelty, history is full of examples of this. The innocent people whose blood you have spilled and slaughtered today will find you sooner rather than later, sooner than later. History is full of examples of this.
‘At the victory willed by Allah. He gives victory to whoever He wills.’ We know, we believe, that the dua of the innocent does not stay on the ground, the dua of the oppressed does not stay on the ground. The duas of the oppressed will hopefully find the oppressors one day. If we follow the advice of our beloved Prophet (may peace be upon him) with our hands, tongues, and hearts. What can we do with our hands today? We send our help. People there have no water to drink, no bread to eat, here is a help that we can do with our hands. We need to support what is happening there against the oppressors. We need to pray with our tongues."
“O Allah (swt)! Help our brothers and sisters who are fighting against the oppressors.”
After his speech, President Erbaş made the dua of the hatim recited for all the martyrs and those martyred in Gaza, and made the following invocation in his dua:
“O the Almighty Allah (swt)! Help our brothers and sisters who are fighting against the oppressors. Grant our brothers and sisters in Palestine and Gaza victory against their enemies, O Allah (swt).
O the Almighty Allah (swt)! These lands, Anatolian lands were entrusted to us with the blood of many martyrs and the struggles of many veterans. Bless the souls of all our martyrs and veterans, and make their place Paradise, O Allah (swt).
O Allah (swt)! Grant us the opportunity to protect these lands. Grant us to be grandchildren worthy of our ancestors, O Allah (swt). O the Almighty Allah (swt)! Do not give an opportunity to the traitors who covet this heavenly homeland of ours, and internal and external evils, O Allah (swt). O Allah (swt)! Maintain our unity and solidarity, and do not give an opportunity to the traitors who covet our unity and solidarity.
O Allah (swt)! Make our glorious army and all our security forces victorious on land, in the air, at sea, everywhere and in every aspect. O Allah (swt)! Succeed glorious army, our soldiers, who is fighting against terrorist organizations. O Allah (swt)! Protect them from all kinds of evil, from the traps of enemies and terrorist organizations.”
President Erbaş took a souvenir photo with the students who came to the fajr prayer at the exit of the mosque.
