The Presidency of Religious Affairs organized an international meeting on "Palestine and Gaza" with 131 participants from ninety-two countries. Giving a speech at the meeting, President of Religious Affairs Erbaş said that Palestinians were subjected to a total genocide.
The Presidency of Religious Affairs organized an 'Emergency Gaza Meeting' with the World Muslim Religious Leaders with the agenda of "Palestine and Gaza".
Giving a speech at the online meeting held to consult on what can be done about the attacks of the occupying terrorist state Israel against Gaza and the Palestinians, President of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş expressed that talking about Al-Quds is not just talking about a city, and pointed out that talking about Al-Quds means talking about the glory of the Islamic Ummah and the future of humanity.
Stating that the Palestinians were subjected to genocide, President Erbaş said that in a world where such brutality is openly supported, all ideologies and policies that claim to bring peace, tranquillity and prosperity to humanity have lost their credibility.
“Concepts such as conscience and compassion do not mean anything to them.”
Pointing out that the brutality of the occupying Israel in Palestine is not only the result of a cruel policy, President Erbaş continued his words as follows:
“Underneath this inhumane behaviour is a dirty and perverted belief. According to this belief, they see themselves as the masters of the world. They consider the earth their private property. They believe that they will seize a geography in the Islamic geography that they believe God has promised them in their own language and that is expressed by the concept of "promised lands" and live paradise there.
The Zionists are turning Palestine into a bloodbath in pursuit of this superstition. The leaders of some of the power centres that give them full support belong to the same superstition. For this reason, concepts such as right, law, morality, conscience, and mercy do not mean anything to them.”
“We must act as soon as possible with a common attitude and determination.”
Pointing out that those who occupied Gaza and Palestine found this courage in themselves because they saw Islamic societies as disorganized and weak, President Erbaş continued his words as follows:
“While the cry of the oppressed reaches the heaven, the only solution is for the Ummah of Muhammad (saw) to come together and prevent oppression and occupation. Al-Quds and Gaza call us to unity. It invites us to work together in all areas. For this reason, we must strengthen the awareness of Al-Quds and accelerate the efforts to unite the Islamic world. Just as we unite our hearts and prayers, we must also unite our strength and resources for Palestine and Al-Quds. We must act as soon as possible with a common attitude and determination.”
“On the day when we unite with each other with the consciousness of unity, the life-giving principles and values of Islam will restore order to the earth.”
Underlining that no work will be enough until Al-Quds is fully returned to Darussalam, President Erbaş made the following evaluation:
“I believe that on the day we unite with the consciousness of unity, the peace and tranquillity that the Ummah geography, especially Gaza, has been waiting for centuries will come by itself, and the life-giving principles and values of Islam will restore order to the world. Our duty is to work with all our strength for this ideal.”
Expressing his thanks to the participants at the end of his speech, President Erbaş made the following dua, “I pray to the Almighty Allah (swt) to give us determination, will, prudence and wisdom in order to make the world we live in happy with the universal truths of our great book, the Holy Quran.”
The meeting, attended by 131 people from ninety-two countries, will end with the final declaration today.
