The 'Emergency Gaza Meeting', organized online by the Presidency of Religious Affairs with the agenda of "Palestine and Gaza", ended with the announcing of the final declaration.

At the meeting, which was held with the participation of more than two hundred people from 94 countries, including heads of religious administrations, ministers and Islamic scholars, consultations were held on what can be done to stop the oppression and genocide of the occupying terrorist state Israel against Gaza and the Palestinians.

The final declaration of the meeting, where various decisions were taken, was shared by the President of Religious Affairs Erbaş.

“A nation is given up for death in suffering.”

In his speech before announcing the articles of the final declaration, President Erbaş stated that Israel's attacks on Gaza, which have no humanitarian, moral and legal basis, continue uninterruptedly and continued his words as follows:

“Thousands of innocent people, including children, women, and the elderly, are being brutally slaughtered by the invaders in front of the eyes of the world. Tens of thousands of civilians are being displaced from their homes and homes, deprived of electricity, water and the most basic foodstuffs, houses, mosques, hospitals, and schools are being bombed and a nation is given up to death in agony. The occupying Israeli regime, emboldened by the silence on the murders it has committed since its establishment, is committing a genocide in Gaza today for the sake of its dirty Zionist ambitions.”

“All ideologies and policies have lost credibility.”

Stating that Western states remained silent in the face of Israel's flagitious attacks and genocide, President Erbaş said, "All ideologies and policies that claim to bring peace, tranquillity and prosperity to humanity have lost their credibility. The West, which has trampled on all the values it claims to defend, is now bankrupt."

The final declaration shared with the public by President Erbaş includes the following articles:

  1. The endless ambitions, inhumane policies, and cruelties of the murderous Israel, backed by the imperialists, are dragging the world into a total catastrophe. Israel must immediately cease its attacks on Gaza and the Palestinians. The eviction of Palestinians from their homes and homelands, the occupation of their lands, is never acceptable.

  2. The struggle of the people of Gaza against Israel's invasion and occupation is a legitimate and honourable struggle in terms of religion, morality, and international law. It is the responsibility of faith and servitude for every Muslim to support this noble struggle in all respects and to fight materially and spiritually to stop the genocide that is taking place. Al-Quds belongs to Muslims, Palestine and Gaza are Muslim homelands, and will remain so until the Judgment Day.

  3. Zionist Israel is committing a genocide in Gaza with its attacks based on a dirty and perverted belief. International organizations such as the United Nations and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation should take immediate action to stop this genocide. Peacekeepers should be sent to the region as soon as possible to protect the oppressed. In this respect, it is an unavoidable necessity to urgently open a humanitarian aid corridor to Gaza, to deliver basic living products, especially electricity and water, to Gaza, and to take the necessary measures to ensure the transfer of the wounded to hospitals in neighbouring countries.

  4. The murderous rulers of the occupying Israel should know that no government that unjustly threatens people's property, possessions and lives has achieved its goals. The end of the oppressors is frustration and hell. Cruelty and injustice have never brought peace to humanity in any period of history. Everyone with a conscience, especially Muslims, will always stand up against the dirty plans of Zionism.

  5. Those who occupy Gaza and Palestine find this courage in themselves because they see Islamic societies as scattered and weak. Al-Quds and Gaza call Muslims to unity. It is a historical responsibility for Islamic countries to come together and act as soon as possible with a common attitude and determination, and to prevent oppression and genocide. When hearts and prayers are united, as well as when power and opportunities are united for Palestine and Al-Quds, the peace and tranquillity that the world, especially Gaza, has been waiting for centuries will come by itself and the life-giving principles and values of Islam will restore order to the world.

  6. The brutality and genocide in Gaza are not only a problem of Muslims, but also a common problem of all humanity. These massacres and attacks by the Zionist Israeli Government are an attack on the future of all humanity. It is a necessity of being human to stand against these wanton murders and genocide.

  7. We know that sensible Jews do not approve of these genocides and massacres by the Zionist Israeli government. Raising their voices more will make a significant contribution to stopping these attacks that disregard human dignity and try to destroy the law of coexistence. For this reason, it is important for people of faith and conscience to communicate with members of other religions to unite their power and to prepare a joint action plan to stop this barbarism that is dragging humanity into disaster.

  8. Despite this brutality that hurts the conscience, demonstrations on the axis of law and morality should continue all over the world for the rulers and governments that support Israel to reconsider their positions and change their decisions in line with the common future of humanity. Otherwise, those who supported the genocide committed in Palestine and Gaza and remained silent about this unprecedented atrocity, as well as those who closed their eyes and ears to it, will be condemned to disgrace in the pages of history.

  9. It has been decided that it is appropriate to establish a follow up commission to implement the issues uttered here.
