We have learned that the leader of FETÖ, who has exploited the Qur’an, the Sunnah, exemplary figures, and national and spiritual values, using agitating rhetoric, esoteric interpretations, and fabricated success stories to brainwash his followers, has ultimately died as a fugitive and stateless traitor.

As a puppet of dark forces hostile to our nation, this traitorous fugitive, who concealed his malicious intentions behind the principles and values of our sublime religion, Islam, had sown seeds of discord and division, targeting the unity and existence of Muslims. He committed a grave act of treason against our state, our nation, and our independence and future. His reckoning will now be at al-Mahkama al-Kubra in the Hereafter.

However, we would like to take this opportunity to reiterate an important point. For years, this dark organization, supported by imperialist forces and bearing an “Assassin-like” spirit, has operated under the guise of righteousness, justifying every form of evil. It has blatantly demonstrated that ignorance or misinformation about religion can lead to great and irreparable disasters. Therefore, to be protected from those who pursue discord, division, and anarchy—targeting unity, peace, and brotherhood—and from all terrorist organizations and interest groups, it is crucial to learn the life-giving truths, peaceful values, and merciful principles of Islam from authentic sources and through proper methods. Most importantly, teaching future generations the Prophet’s (saw) hadith, “I was sent to perfect good character,” in the best possible way is a duty that cannot be neglected.

In this regard, Presidency of Religious Affairs will, as always, continue to focus on education and guidance activities, providing spiritual leadership to our nation through authentic knowledge, while maintaining a diligent and resolute stance against all structures, rhetoric, and actions that seek to deceive people and exploit religious values for personal gain.
