Today, the immemorial city of the humanity, and the first qibla of Islam, Al-Quds, is facing an unlawful intervention. An unrestrained mentality that disregards the humanity, the immemorial tradition, and the international law attempts to make al-Quds the capital of Israel on the Palestinian territory in an unlawful manner.

It should be known that;

Al-Quds is an Islamic city, and home to the memoirs of many prophets.

Al-Quds has been the most magnificent example of the culture of living together by embracing many differences throughout history.

Al-Quds is a sacred city that every Muslim deems more valued than their own life and property. Al-Quds is not only the cause of those living around al-Aqsa, it is the common cause of all Muslims around the world.

Al-Quds is the good news from and entrusted to Muslims by the Prophet (saw). Al-Quds, where the Mi’raj event took place, is as much important as Makkah and Madinah for Muslims. The status of Al-Quds could not be considered as just a political issue. Al-Quds is not just a random plot of land in a random country. Throughout the history of Islam, Muslims protected the character of this city that is known as Darussalam, the land of peace. But today, it is undergoing attempts as to its peaceful atmosphere being destroyed, with the purpose of turning it into the land of conflicts.

The efforts to leave the destiny of al-Quds up to a handful of merciless minority cause common sense to disappear and the conscience of humanity to be hurt. It is a shock to the culture of living together, peace, conciliation, and safety.

The Presidency of Religious Affairs is with the suffering Palestinian Muslims who have been serving as the guardians of al-Aqsa for years despite any kind of invasion and violence, and will continue to be by their side and provide any kind of support for them.
